Follow these guidelines to ensure your custom apparel turns out exactly as you envision
Ensure your design incorporates adequate color contrast for clear visibility. Dark designs on light shirts, light designs on dark shirts.
Avoid low-contrast color combinations that reduce readability and visual impact. Light gray on white or navy on black will not show well.
Create your images using the CMYK color mode for printing. This ensures colors reproduce accurately on the final product.
Submit files in RGB mode. RGB colors may not translate accurately to the printed product and can appear duller or shifted.
Provide high-resolution files in suitable formats. Vector files (AI, PDF, EPS, SVG) or raster files at minimum 300 DPI.
Submit low-resolution or incompatible file types. This results in blurry, pixelated, or jagged output that looks unprofessional.
Consider the placement and sizing of your design relative to the apparel item. Use our design studio visualization tools to preview.
Use excessively large or small designs that compromise appearance or wearability. Overly large prints can crack, too small becomes invisible.
Understand that mock-ups are for visualization purposes. Account for possible color and size variations in the final product.
Assume mock-ups are exact representations of finished products. Screen colors and print colors differ due to RGB vs CMYK.
Use the Design Notes feature for non-standard placements, special artwork instructions, or color matching requests.
