Choosing a first birthday theme

Start with the party theme. A wild one party pairs with Wild One Wranglers. Hockey families can start early with Rookie Season Hockey Club. The Big One keeps the focus on the number that matters today. For photos, Cake Smash Crew gets the family in on the mess.

Several first birthday shirts here are family sets, so the baby, parents, grandparents and siblings each pick their own line from a list. There's also a design that takes your own words, like the baby's name or the year.

Sizes and ordering for baby's party

Baby and toddler sizes are offered alongside youth and adult garments, though garment options differ from one design to the next. Order the whole family in one cart, since the price of each shirt drops as more of the same design is added, in any colour. A delivery date shows before checkout, so you can time it for the party and the photos. Pick a colour for the baby and a matching one for the rest of the family.

Older kids have their own page at Kids Birthday Party Shirts, and more family themes are on Family Birthday Shirts. For something one of a kind, make it with our custom birthday t-shirts.

Questions and answers

Do first birthday shirts come in baby sizes?

Yes, on designs offered in baby and toddler sizes. Not every design comes on every garment, so check the size list before you order. Parents, grandparents and older siblings can match in adult and youth sizes.

Can Mom and Dad match the baby?

Yes. Choose a family set and each person picks their own line from a list, so Mom, Dad and the birthday baby all fit the same theme. Put the whole family in one order to bring the price of each shirt down.

How do I wash a printed baby shirt?

Turn it inside out and wash it in cold water with similar colours. Hang it to dry or tumble dry on low, skip the bleach and avoid ironing over the print. It'll stay ready for the next round of photos.
