For standard left-chest embroidery, keep your logo within a 4" x 4" area. Logos that are too large for the chest area can look overwhelming and may distort on the curved surface of a polo. If your logo is wide or horizontal, it may work better on the back or as a sleeve design where there's more space.

Provide Vector Files

Vector files (AI, EPS, or PDF) produce the best embroidery digitization because they contain clean, scalable outlines. High-resolution PNG or JPG files can also work, but vector formats give our digitizing team the most accurate starting point. Embroidery is a physical medium with practical limits. Very thin lines (under 1mm), tiny text (under 5mm tall), and photographic gradients don't translate well to thread. Bold, clean designs with solid shapes and legible text at embroidery size produce the most professional results. If your logo has fine details, our digitizing team will advise on adjustments.

Colour Contrast Matters

Choose thread colours that contrast well with your polo colour. Dark threads (navy, black, charcoal) stand out on light polos (white, light blue, grey). Standard Placement

The most common placement for embroidered polo shirts is the company logo on the left chest, approximately 7-9" down from the left shoulder seam and centered between the placket and side seam.
