Not recommended for DTG printing. The L2022 is 100% polyester, which is notoriously challenging for DTG. Polyester doesn't absorb water-based inks the same way cotton does, leading to washed-out colors, poor vibrancy, and a grayish appearance on darker fabrics.

If you need full-color photographic prints on this style, opt for DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers instead. DTF works beautifully on polyester fleece, delivering vibrant colors and excellent durability without the ink adhesion issues of DTG.

Heat Transfer / DTF

Highly recommended for DTF transfers. The smooth polyester fleece accepts heat transfers exceptionally well. The fabric's low pile and tight weave create a flat surface for transfers to adhere, and the polyester content ensures excellent wash durability.

Use medium heat and pressure (around 300-320°F for 10-15 seconds) and always follow the transfer manufacturer's instructions. The L2022's synthetic construction means it's less heat-sensitive than natural fibers, giving you a wider working window.
