Our Vancouver HVAC company ordered embroidered work shirts (SP14) for the whole team. The industrial long sleeve shirts hold up beautifully in the field — after a dozen washes the logo is still crisp. Will absolutely be reordering.

Our Montreal automotive shop ordered 35 easy-care twill shirts (S04600) and we're blown away by the quality. The poly-cotton blend doesn't wrinkle after a hard day's work and the screen-printed logo is bright and durable. Great service from start to finish.
As an Edmonton electrical contractor, safety compliance is critical. We ordered CSA-certified hi-vis hoodies (L01375) for our winter work. The embroidered company logo on the chest is clean and professional. Rush delivery had our order ready in 6 days — impressive.
We ordered branded hi-vis vests and work shirts for our Ottawa municipal maintenance crews. T-Shirt Elephant handled a mixed order of 200+ pieces across multiple styles with zero issues. CSA-compliant products, fast delivery, and the embroidery held up through a full season of daily use.

T-Shirt Elephant delivered 150 embroidered work shirts on schedule with perfect colour matching across the entire batch. The no-minimum policy also let us test a small order first — very reassuring.
Our Hamilton steel plant has been ordering hi-vis workwear from T-Shirt Elephant for two years. The hi-vis quilted jackets (L01220) are outstanding — warm enough for the yard in winter, CSA compliant, and the embroidery doesn't crack or peel even after heavy industrial use. Highly recommend.
We manage rental properties across London, ON and needed a clean, professional look for our maintenance staff. Ordered easy-care Camden shirts (S04600) with our company logo. They look great, wrinkle-resist is real, and the team loves them. T-Shirt Elephant made the whole process seamless from upload to delivery.

Everything You Need to Know About Custom Workwear in Canada
Canada's trusted custom workwear partner since 2012
Custom workwear Canada businesses order refers to any work-specific apparel decorated with company logos, employee names, or branding — from hi-vis safety t-shirts to insulated parkas. T-Shirt Elephant carries the most comprehensive custom workwear range in Canada, covering every garment type workers need from spring through winter.
The Full Workwear Range
Our custom workwear lineup spans: hi-vis t-shirts and long sleeve shirts ($10.90 - $24.00), safety vests ($12.95 - $42.86), work shirts ($22.00 - $34.70), hi-vis hoodies ($40.00 - $58.57), hi-vis jackets ($59.95 - $202.86), and hi-vis overalls ($90.00). One supplier for your entire workforce program.
Why Branded Workwear Matters
Branded custom workwear serves three purposes simultaneously: safety compliance (CSA Z96-15 hi-vis standards), professional identification (company logos and employee names), and brand building (consistent visual identity across your workforce). Workers in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton who wear branded workwear project professionalism to clients and accountability to supervisors.
CSA Compliance Across All Hi-Vis
All hi-vis custom workwear Canada T-Shirt Elephant carries meets CSA Z96-15 and ANSI/ISEA 107 standards. Canadian workplaces from construction sites in Ontario to oil sands operations in Alberta require CSA-compliant high-visibility apparel — our full range ensures compliance at every price point.
No Minimums, Any Quantity
Order 1 custom workwear item or 1,000+ — no minimum order requirement. A sole proprietor can order a single embroidered work shirt; a national construction company can outfit hundreds of workers across multiple job sites. Free shipping on orders over $250 CAD anywhere in Canada.
Hi-vis t-shirts are the entry point of safety workwear — lightweight, comfortable, and CSA-compliant at the lowest price point in our custom workwear Canada range. They provide the visibility workers need in warm weather and light-duty environments.
S05945 — Primeguard Hi-Vis T-Shirt ($10.90)
The Primeguard S05945 is our most affordable custom workwear item — just $10.90 for a CSA-compliant fluorescent t-shirt. Available in Hi-Vis Orange, Hi-Vis Yellow, Navy, and Black. Ideal for large crew deployments, seasonal workers, and budget-conscious programs that need maximum coverage.
S05960 — Canada Sportswear Hi-Vis T-Shirt ($14.50)
The Canada Sportswear S05960 offers enhanced construction at $14.50. Popular with construction companies in Toronto, landscaping firms in Vancouver, and outdoor service workers in Calgary.
Long Sleeve Hi-Vis Shirts
The S05970 Long Sleeve ($17.95) and ATC S05948 Beacon ($18.00) provide arm coverage for outdoor work, sun protection, and cooler environments. The ATC S05990 Cotton Hi-Vis ($20.00) and S05995 Cotton LS ($24.00) offer natural fibre comfort for workers who prefer cotton.
Decoration Options
Hi-vis t-shirts accept both screen printing and heat transfer logos. The fluorescent background provides excellent contrast for dark logos. Standard placement: left chest (company logo), back panel (company name). CSA-compliant placement maintains required fluorescent area.
Custom safety vests are the most versatile workwear item — worn over any garment to instantly add CSA-compliant visibility. Our seven vest styles cover every application from one-size visitor programs to insulated quilted vests for cold Canadian weather.
One-Size Vests ($12.95 - $15.95)
The L01180 ($12.95) and L01170 ($15.95) provide the simplest solution for visitor programs, shared vest pools, and rapid crew deployment. No sizing required — essential for construction sites across Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary.
Feature-Rich Vests ($13.93 - $42.86)
The L01145 Tear-Away ($13.93) provides machinery-zone safety with 5-point breakaway snaps. The L01150 Scout Zipper ($18.57) offers professional closure. The L01190 Surveyor ($38.21) provides maximum pocket capacity. The L01225 Mack Quilted ($42.86) adds insulation for shoulder-season warmth.

Custom work shirts form the professional foundation of workwear programs for trades, offices, and service businesses. Three distinct styles serve different needs — industrial twill for physical labour, everyday woven for professional versatility, and easy-care twill for corporate environments.
Industrial Work Shirts ($22.85 - $25.00)
The SP14 Long Sleeve ($22.85) and SP24 Short Sleeve ($25.00) feature heavyweight twill, dual chest pockets, and reinforced seams for construction, HVAC, automotive, and trades applications.
Everyday Woven Shirts ($22.00 - $34.70)
The D6021 Short Sleeve ($22.00), D6013 Long Sleeve ($25.00), and ladies versions provide professional appearance for offices, service, and customer-facing roles.
Easy-Care Twill ($22.95)
The S04600 Camden Men's ($22.95) and S04601 Ladies ($22.95) offer wrinkle-resistant poly-cotton twill for corporate uniforms and property management. See our full guide at /work-shirts.
Hi-vis hoodies bridge the workwear gap between summer t-shirts and winter jackets — providing warmth and CSA-compliant visibility for cool mornings, outdoor fall work, and temperature-variable indoor environments across Canada.
Pullover Hi-Vis Hoodies
The Canada Sportswear L01375 ($40.00) is the most popular hi-vis hoodie in our custom workwear lineup. Polyester fleece construction with CSA-compliant fluorescent shell and 2-inch reflective tape. Available in orange and yellow. Perfect for construction crews in Toronto and Ottawa during spring and fall.
Zip-Up Hi-Vis Hoodies
The L00682 Full Zip Fleece ($45.00) provides temperature-adjustable visibility. The ATC L01380 Infinity ($58.57) adds a detachable hood for maximum versatility across changing weather conditions in Calgary and Edmonton.
Layering Strategy
Hi-vis hoodies work as standalone spring/fall custom workwear or as mid-layers under hi-vis jackets in colder conditions. The fleece interior provides warmth while the fluorescent outer shell maintains CSA compliance regardless of how they are worn.
Embroidery on Hi-Vis Hoodies
Embroidery on hi-vis hoodies is positioned to maintain CSA Z96-15 compliance — typically left chest logo with back company name below the reflective tape. Our compliance team reviews every placement before production.
Hi-vis jackets protect Canadian outdoor workers through winter conditions — from mild quilted styles for southern BC to heavy-duty insulated parkas for Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba winters. All maintain CSA Z96-15 compliance with full insulation.
Quilted & Reversible Jackets ($59.95 - $67.95)
The L01220 Quilted Jacket ($59.95) handles mild Canadian winters for Vancouver and Toronto. The L01260 Reversible ($67.95) converts between hi-vis and standard for versatile custom workwear programs.
Softshell Jackets ($71.36 - $87.00)
The ATC L01305 Shield ($71.36) and Canada Sportswear L01310 ($87.00) provide wind and water resistance with insulation — the most popular winter jackets for construction crews in Calgary and Edmonton.
Parkas & 5-in-1 Systems ($105.00 - $202.86)
The L01292 Parka ($105.00) and ATC L01275 5-in-1 Kenworth ($202.86) deliver maximum cold-weather protection for oil sands crews in Fort McMurray and infrastructure workers in Winnipeg through extreme winter conditions.
Embroidery is the gold standard for decorating custom workwear Canada businesses invest in — stitched logos survive industrial laundering, harsh environments, and years of demanding use without fading or peeling. Screen-printed logos eventually fail; embroidery persists.
Why Embroidery for Workwear
Work clothing endures aggressive laundering — hot water, commercial detergents, and frequent cycles. Embroidered logos are physically stitched into fabric, not bonded on top of it. This permanence makes embroidery the standard for professional custom workwear programs across Canada.
Standard Embroidery Placements
Left chest company logo (most popular), right chest employee name, upper back yoke (company name), sleeve logos, and collar branding. All placements on hi-vis workwear are reviewed for CSA Z96-15 compliance before production.
Free Digitizing Included
Every first-time custom workwear order includes free logo digitizing — converting your artwork file into an embroidery file optimized for clean stitch definition on workwear fabrics. The digitized file is saved for fast reorders.
Fabric-Specific Techniques
Hi-vis polyester fleece, industrial twill, woven shirts, and quilted jacket shells each require different backing, stabilization, and needle techniques. T-Shirt Elephant's team handles these technical details automatically based on the garment type ordered.
Screen printing on custom workwear delivers bold graphics, large back-panel designs, and multi-colour logos that embroidery cannot replicate. Hi-vis t-shirts, safety vests, and hoodies are particularly popular for screen-printed workwear programs.
Best Applications for Screen Printing
Screen printing excels for: large company names across the back of hi-vis shirts, multi-colour logos with gradients or detailed artwork, high-volume orders where per-unit cost must be minimized, and t-shirt and hoodie programs where fabric texture does not suit embroidery.
Compliance-Safe Placement on Hi-Vis
Screen printing on hi-vis custom workwear requires CSA-compliant placement — logos must not obscure required reflective tape or reduce minimum fluorescent background area. Our team positions all screen-printed graphics in compliant locations on safety apparel.
Combining Methods
Many companies combine decoration methods: embroidered chest logos with screen-printed back designs. Professional embroidery on the front for client-facing visibility; bold screen printing on the back for site identification from a distance. This dual-method approach maximizes impact.
Construction companies represent the largest segment of custom workwear Canada orders. Every worker on a Canadian job site requires CSA-compliant hi-vis apparel, and branded workwear doubles as company identification — distinguishing your crew from subcontractors and projecting professionalism to clients and inspectors.
Complete Construction Workwear Programs
A typical construction custom workwear program includes: hi-vis t-shirts ($10.90) for summer, hi-vis hoodies ($40.00) for fall, and insulated jackets ($87.00) for winter — all with matching embroidered company branding.
Job Site Identification
General contractors on large projects in Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary outfit crews with distinct branded workwear to identify their company on shared sites. Visitor vests, subcontractor identification, and supervisor-specific styles create clear visual organization on complex multi-trade projects.
Seasonal Workwear Planning
Canadian construction seasons demand year-round workwear planning. T-Shirt Elephant keeps your logo on file for consistent seasonal reorders — the same embroidered branding applied to summer shirts, shoulder-season hoodies, and winter jackets ensures uniform company identity year-round.
Automotive businesses have the strongest tradition of branded custom workwear — the embroidered button-front shirt is the universal symbol of the service technician. Professional branded workwear builds immediate customer trust when vehicles are handed over for service.
Technician Work Shirts
Auto repair shops outfit technicians with embroidered SP24 Industrial Shirts ($25.00) — heavyweight twill resists grease and tool abrasion, dual chest pockets serve daily work, and short sleeves provide comfort in warm shop environments. Dark colours (Charcoal, Black, Navy) minimize visible staining.
Dealership Service Departments
Car dealerships in Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver use tiered workwear programs: service advisors in Camden easy-care twill ($22.95), bay technicians in industrial work shirts — matching brand identity across all customer-facing roles.
Fleet and Heavy Equipment
Fleet maintenance operations and heavy equipment shops outfit mechanics with long sleeve SP14 shirts ($22.85) for arm protection during welding, hydraulic work, and equipment operation. Safety vests add hi-vis compliance for forklift and vehicle areas.
Name Patches and Role Identification
Automotive custom workwear commonly includes embroidered technician names on the right chest, certification logos (ASE, OEM brand marks), and department designations. T-Shirt Elephant handles individual name embroidery on each garment within the same order.
Corporate custom workwear elevates team professionalism — matching embroidered shirts eliminate the daily "what to wear" decision while ensuring every employee consistently represents your brand to clients, visitors, and partners.
Easy-Care Twill for Corporate Programs
The Camden S04600 ($22.95) is the top corporate workwear choice — wrinkle-resistant poly-cotton twill looks polished all day without ironing. Real estate brokerages in Toronto, insurance agencies in Ottawa, and property management firms in Vancouver rely on Camden twill for consistent team appearance.
Professional Woven Shirts
The D6021 Woven ($22.00) and D6013 Long Sleeve Woven ($25.00) balance professional appearance with everyday durability for technology companies, startups, and service businesses across Canada.
Mixed Programs for Diverse Roles
Many companies order different workwear styles for different roles — industrial shirts for field staff, woven shirts for office staff, and easy-care twill for management — all with identical embroidered company logos for brand consistency regardless of role or environment.
Utility and municipal custom workwear Canada programs serve workers who operate in public spaces — the branded apparel provides CSA-compliant safety visibility and immediate public identification of authorized personnel.
Electrical and Gas Utilities
Hydro and electrical crews in Toronto, gas utility workers in Edmonton, and pipeline maintenance teams in Calgary order complete workwear programs: hi-vis t-shirts ($10.90) for summer, hi-vis hoodies ($40.00) for fall, and insulated jackets ($87.00) for winter.
Municipal Public Works
City public works departments across Canada outfit road maintenance, parks, water systems, and sanitation crews with branded custom workwear. City logos and department designations identify workers to citizens and create professional accountability for municipal services.
Telecommunications
Telecom technicians installing fibre, maintaining cable infrastructure, and performing field service work in public areas wear branded hi-vis workwear that identifies them to homeowners and satisfies roadside safety requirements.
Year-Round Programs
Utilities operate year-round in all Canadian weather — requiring complete custom workwear programs from summer t-shirts through winter parkas, all with consistent branding and CSA-compliant hi-vis properties.
T-Shirt Elephant carries custom workwear from three complementary brands covering every price point and application. Understanding each brand's strengths helps build optimized workwear programs.

Small Businesses and Sole Proprietors

Custom workwear sizing varies by garment type — hi-vis t-shirts fit like athletic tees, work shirts follow standard men's/ladies sizing, and outerwear runs larger to accommodate layers.
Hi-Vis T-Shirts and Shirts
Available S through 3XL+ on most styles. Hi-vis t-shirts have a generous fit for unrestricted movement. Standard crew size distribution: 10% S, 15% M, 30% L, 25% XL, 15% 2XL, 5% 3XL. Mix sizes freely within a single order.
Safety Vests
One-size vests (L01180, L01170) fit most adults. Tear-away vest (L01145) comes in dual sizes (S/M, L/XL). All other vests are individually sized S-3XL. Vests are designed for wearing over workwear, so they fit loosely by design.
Work Shirts
Industrial shirts (SP14, SP24) run with workwear fit — roomier for physical movement. Woven and twill shirts offer a more tailored professional cut. All available S-3XL for men, with matching ladies cuts in most styles. See full size charts at /work-shirts.
Jackets and Outerwear
Hi-vis jackets and parkas are sized to layer over shirts and hoodies. Order your normal shirt size for light layering or size up for heavy base layers. Free size exchanges on unworn blanks within 30 days for custom workwear orders.
Getting the best results on custom workwear starts with proper artwork files and thoughtful placement. Our design team handles all technical details — but understanding the basics helps you submit the right files and make informed decoration decisions.
Artwork File Formats
Provide vector artwork in AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF format for the sharpest embroidery and printing results. Vector files scale without quality loss. If you only have a raster PNG or JPG, ensure 300+ DPI at intended size. No vector file? Our team offers free artwork vectorization with every custom workwear order.
CSA-Compliant Placement on Hi-Vis
Logo placement on hi-vis workwear must maintain required fluorescent background area and not obscure retroreflective tape. Standard compliant locations: left chest (logo), right chest (name), back panel between or below reflective bands. Every placement is reviewed by our compliance team before production.
Colour Selection for Workwear
Dark thread (black, navy, dark green) provides best contrast on fluorescent orange and yellow backgrounds. Light thread (white, light grey) works on dark shirts and jackets. For embroidery on hi-vis workwear, we recommend high-contrast combinations for maximum brand visibility.
Free Design Assistance
T-Shirt Elephant provides free artwork review, compliance consultation, and digital proofs with every custom workwear Canada order. Send your logo to [email protected] — our team will recommend optimal placement, thread colours, and decoration method for each garment type in your program.
