When water stops beading on the surface and starts soaking into the fabric, it is time to restore the DWR. Tumble dry the jacket on low heat for 20 minutes — heat reactivates the existing DWR treatment. If that does not restore the beading, apply a spray-on DWR treatment (available at outdoor retailers) following the product instructions.

Storage

Prolonged compression can set creases into nylon and polyester that are difficult to remove.
