Excellent screen printing quality, and excellent selection of high quality garments. Love that I can order just 1 item instead of a large minimum order most custom garment companies require.

Everything You Need to Know About Custom Event Buttons in Canada
Printed in Toronto, shipped across Canada
Events use buttons for three jobs.
Identify
Staff, volunteers, speakers and VIPs in a colour each, on 2.25 inch rounds or the 3 by 2 rectangle for a name and a role.
Admit
A day button as a low-cost wristband alternative for festivals, fairs and open houses.
Remember
A souvenir button for attendees, dated, that turns up on bags for years.
Conferences
Sponsor buttons, session-track buttons and "ask me about" buttons for exhibitors.
Schools order buttons all year.
Spirit
Mascot buttons for spirit days, game days and pep rallies, sold or given at the door.
Recognition
Student-of-the-month, reading-club and graduation buttons in 1.5 inches.
Teams
Player-number buttons for parents, team-photo buttons for the banquet, tournament buttons for trading.
Sports clubs
Order a set per team from one account, each design its own line.
A button is the oldest fundraiser: buy the run in quantity, sell each for a few dollars, keep the difference.
The math
At the higher quantity breaks a 2.25 inch button costs well under a dollar; sold at two or three dollars it funds the trip or the cause. The studio shows the exact per-button price for your quantity.
Awareness
Ribbon and slogan buttons for walks, runs and awareness months.
Memorials and milestones
Photo buttons for celebrations of life, reunions and anniversaries.
Event buttons are priced per piece by size and quantity, in Canadian dollars, with no setup fee. The classic 2.25 inch size sits in the middle of the ladder; 1 inch is the least expensive per piece. Colour count and artwork complexity make no difference; a magnet back adds a small fixed amount per piece.
Today's ladder
Here is the live price per button for the classic size:
| Quantity | Price per piece at 2.25 × 2.25 in | Order total |
|---|---|---|
| 10+ | $3.00 CAD | $30.00 for 10 |
| 25+ | $2.25 CAD | $56.25 for 25 |
| 50+ | $0.80 CAD | $40.00 for 50 |
| 100+ | $0.75 CAD | $75.00 for 100 |
| 250+ | $0.65 CAD | $162.50 for 250 |
| 500+ | $0.60 CAD | $300.00 for 500 |
| 1,000+ | $0.55 CAD | $550.00 for 1,000 |
| 2,500+ | $0.50 CAD | $1,250.00 for 2,500 |
| 5,000+ | $0.45 CAD | $2,250.00 for 5,000 |

Reading the ladder
Each row is a quantity break. The studio shows the same ladder for your exact choice, so you can see whether the next break costs less in total than the run you planned. It often does.
Larger runs
Past the top break, or for a mix of sizes and designs, ask for a quote. Business accounts see the same live grid online.
Personal events use buttons as favours and as photo keepsakes.
Birthdays
"Birthday girl" and "birthday crew" buttons, milestone numbers, photo buttons of the guest of honour.
Weddings and showers
Team bride and team groom, bridal-party roles, a wedding-date souvenir for guests.
Reunions
Then-and-now photo buttons and name buttons with the graduating year.
Size follows the job.
1 and 1.25 inch
Trading buttons, lapel identifiers, tournament sets.
1.5 and 1.75 inch
Recognition and club buttons; a logo and a line of text.
2.25 inch
The classic event and campaign button: a slogan and a graphic.
3 inch and up
Staff and role badges read from across a room; the 3 by 2 rectangle for a name and a role.
Pricing rewards volume because the setup is the same for ten buttons and a thousand.
Quantity breaks
The ladder in the studio shows the price per button at every break. Stepping up a break often costs little more in total and leaves stock for the next event.
Mixed orders
Add as many designs and sizes as you like to one cart; each line prices on its own quantity.
Reorders
Saved designs stay on your account. Reorder in a new quantity or a new size with no artwork to send again.
Very large runs
Past the top break, ask for a quote. We price large and recurring runs by hand and can set up business invoicing.
Pin backs for wearing and handing out at events. Magnet backs, for a small added charge per piece, for giveaways meant to stay on a fridge or an office cabinet, and for name badges on uniforms with nothing piercing the fabric. Many customers order one design both ways.
Upload a PNG, JPG, SVG or PDF. The studio marks the safe area for each size; keep names, dates and logos inside it and let the background run to the outer edge, where it wraps over the shell. One or two words fit a 1 inch button; a slogan and a graphic fit 2.25 inches. The studio flags text that is too small to read.
Event buttons are printed on coated paper, cut with a wrap margin and pressed under a clear mylar face into a steel shell on a commercial button press in our North York, Toronto facility, by the team that has printed custom apparel for Canadians since 2013.
One order, one box
Because they are made where the shirts are, an order of buttons, stickers, magnets and tees is one order with one proof set and one tracking number.
Canadian pricing
Prices are in Canadian dollars; there is no duty, brokerage or exchange fee because nothing crosses a border.
Checked against your proof
Every run is checked against the preview you approved in the studio before it is packed. If a file needs attention, we email you before production.
Event buttons ship boxed from Toronto to every province and territory.
Cost
Shipping is free on orders over $250 before tax. Below that, carrier options and rates appear at checkout.
Taxes
GST or HST is added at checkout by province. There is no duty or brokerage.
Tracking
You receive a tracking number by email when the order ships, and your account shows its status at any time.
Combined orders
Event buttons ship with any apparel or other printed products on the same order, so an event kit arrives together.
The well-known online printers do a good job, and it is fair to say where we differ on event buttons.
Range and sizing
Thirteen sizes and shapes from 1 to 4 inches with pin or magnet backs, priced live, against the three or four sizes most sites list.
Canadian pricing and shipping
CAD prices, Toronto production, no duty or brokerage. Sites that quote in CAD still ship across a border.
Everything on one order
Stickers, sheets, magnets, buttons, posters, transfers and printed apparel share one cart and one delivery.
The studio
You see the finished piece and the exact price for your size and quantity before you add to cart.
Where the big sites win is very large runs of one product. Past our top break, ask for a quote and compare like for like.
A little planning saves reorders.
Quantities
Order for attendance plus a margin; the next quantity break often costs little more in total.
Colour coding
One design in several background colours is several lines, each priced on its own quantity.
The kit
Order the buttons with the volunteer tees, the posters and the stickers so it all ships together.
A pressed button is paper, a clear mylar film and a steel shell, and it is fair to say so plainly.
What it is
Event buttons are a coated paper face printed in full colour, sealed under a clear mylar film and pressed into a steel shell with a steel safety-pin or magnet back.
Disposal
The steel shell is recyclable as scrap metal where your municipality accepts small metal; the mylar face is not. Buttons last for years, so the best outcome is a button that is worn.
Less waste in production
Every order is made to the quantity you order rather than to a stock run. Ordering what you will use is the biggest saving, and small runs are easy in the studio.
Winter: conference season, winter carnivals, awareness months. Spring: charity walks and runs, school spirit weeks, graduation. Summer: festivals, fairs, camps, Canada Day and Pride. Fall: back-to-school, homecoming, election and campaign season, Halloween and Remembrance events.
Ordering takes a few minutes and you always see the price first.
1. Start on the product
Pick pin buttons from the cards above and choose the size in the studio.
2. Upload and size
Upload your art or build it from text and shapes. Pick the size; the studio shows the safe area and the price ladder for that size.
3. Choose the options and quantity
Pick a pin back or a magnet back and set the quantity where the ladder makes sense for you.
4. Approve and check out
Check the preview, add to cart and check out in Canadian dollars alongside any apparel. You receive tracking when the order ships, and the design stays saved for reorders. Questions at any stage: contact our Toronto team. See all custom buttons.
