Excellent service and would definitely recommend!
Everything You Need to Know About Custom Die-Cut Stickers in Canada
Printed in Toronto, shipped across Canada
A die-cut sticker is cut all the way through the vinyl and the backing paper along the outline of your design, so each sticker is its own piece in the shape of the art, not a rectangle with your logo inside it. It is the sticker people hand out, pack in orders, sell at a table and stick on laptops and water bottles.
How ours are made
Your artwork prints in full colour onto the material you choose, and a contour cutter follows a cut line traced from the art itself. In the studio you choose a slim white border around the design, a tight cut that follows the edge closely, or no border on materials where the art has its own edge. The preview shows the exact cut line before you order.
Die-cut versus kiss-cut
A kiss-cut sticker is cut through the vinyl only and stays on a larger square of backing; it peels off cleanly and protects fine edges, and it is how sticker sheets work. Die-cut is the choice when the sticker should look finished in the hand.
Why people choose die-cut
Shape is the whole appeal. A round logo becomes a round sticker, a mascot becomes a mascot-shaped sticker, and lettering becomes a word you can stick anywhere. With twelve materials, the same shape can be plain white, holographic, glitter, chrome or clear, priced live in the studio for any size from 1 to 23.5 inches.
Most sticker sites offer three or four materials. We print die-cut stickers on twelve, and the studio prices each one live for your size.
The white vinyls
White gloss is the default: bright colour on a white base, wipes clean, water-resistant, indoor and outdoor. White matte has the same base with no glare and a soft, premium feel; it reads well up close and photographs without reflections. Heavy-duty gloss is a thicker vinyl for pieces that get handled, peeled and re-stuck.
The effect films
Holographic shifts through the rainbow under the ink. Glitter puts a fine sparkle under the print. Prismatic fractures light into mirror facets. Silver chrome and gold chrome give a mirror finish; light areas of the art show the metal, dark areas cover it.
Clear and removable
Clear vinyl lets the surface show through where there is no ink; colours look translucent, so bold, saturated art suits it best. Removable vinyl peels off without residue for surfaces you will want clean later.
Window cling
White window cling and clear window cling hold to glass with static, no adhesive at all, and reposition endlessly. They are the storefront and hours-sign material.
Every material has its own product page with photos, notes and a live price ladder. Start with white gloss if you are unsure.
Die-cut stickers run from 1 inch up to 23.5 inches on the longest side, in any proportion. You set the width or the height in the studio and the other side follows your artwork's proportions, so nothing is squashed.
Common sizes
Two to three inches is the everyday sticker: laptops, bottles, packaging seals. Three to four inches suits merch and giveaways. Five to eight inches works for windows, bins, doors and equipment. Past twelve inches you are in decal and small-sign territory, and the same studio handles it.
Shapes
Circles, ovals, squares, rounded rectangles and free-form contours all price the same way, by finished area and quantity. A contour cut follows the art; a shape cut puts the art inside a clean geometric shape with a margin. Both are previewed live.
Borders
A white border of about 3 mm gives a sticker a finished, classic look and protects thin edges. A tight cut follows the art closely for a cleaner, more modern look. On clear and chrome materials, an art-coloured border or no border keeps the effect visible.
Small details
Keep text above roughly 8 points at the finished size, and avoid hairline strokes and long thin spikes at the edge of the shape; the cutter can follow them, but they peel and tear in use. The studio flags text that is too small.
Every die-cut sticker is priced by its finished area and its quantity, in Canadian dollars, with no setup fee. The material adds a small per-square-inch premium for the effect films and clear vinyls over plain white. Nothing else changes the price: shape, colour count and border style are free.
Today's ladder
Here is the live price per piece for a white gloss die-cut sticker at the size most people order:
| Quantity | Price per piece at 3 × 3 in | Order total |
|---|---|---|
| 10+ | $3.35 CAD | $33.50 for 10 |
| 25+ | $1.54 CAD | $38.50 for 25 |
| 50+ | $0.98 CAD | $49.00 for 50 |
| 100+ | $0.63 CAD | $63.00 for 100 |
| 250+ | $0.47 CAD | $117.50 for 250 |
| 500+ | $0.40 CAD | $200.00 for 500 |
| 1,000+ | $0.35 CAD | $350.00 for 1,000 |
| 2,500+ | $0.32 CAD | $800.00 for 2,500 |
| 5,000+ | $0.30 CAD | $1,500.00 for 5,000 |

Reading the ladder
Each row is a quantity break. The studio shows this same ladder for your exact size and material, so you can see whether stepping up to the next break costs less in total than the run you planned. It often does.
Beyond the ladder
For runs past the top break, or a mix of several materials and sizes, ask for a quote. Business customers get the same live grid online; there is no separate wholesale list to unlock.
Logo stickers are the cheapest branded piece a business can put in a customer's hand, and die-cut is the version that looks intentional.
Packaging and unboxing
Seal a box or a mailer, brand a plain bag, add a thank-you sticker to an order. White gloss and matte are the workhorses; a holographic or chrome version marks a limited run.
Product labelling
Clear stickers put a logo on a jar, bottle or case without a white square around it. Removable vinyl suits demo units and rental equipment. Heavy-duty gloss stands up to handling on tools and gear.
Retail and storefront
Window clings announce hours, sales and payment options without adhesive. Larger die-cuts brand doors, counters and displays.
Promotion
Trade shows, conferences and launches go through stickers by the hundred. Pair them with printed tees, tote bags and buttons from the same account and ship the whole kit in one box.
Reorders are a few clicks from your saved designs, and for standing orders our team can set up invoicing. Prices are in CAD with no duty, which matters when you compare against US sticker sites.
Illustrators and small shops sell more stickers than anyone, and the studio was built with that table in mind.
Artists and makers
Upload a character or a piece of lettering and the studio traces the cut line for you. Sell it as a white gloss single, a holographic or glitter special, and a kiss-cut sheet of the whole set. Saved designs reorder in a new quantity as stock runs low.
Schools, clubs and student groups
Spirit-week stickers, locker stickers, club logos and fundraiser packs. Low minimums mean a club can order what it will actually sell.
Teams and leagues
Helmet and equipment stickers on heavy-duty gloss, water-bottle stickers for the bench, and a matching order of printed jerseys or practice tees on the same cart.
Events and weddings
Favour-bag seals, name stickers, table markers and thank-you stickers on matte or clear vinyl.
Whatever the use, the studio previews the cut and the price before you commit, and small runs are welcome.
Good artwork makes a good sticker, and the studio does most of the preparation for you.
Best files
A PNG with a transparent background is ideal: the studio traces the cut line from the art itself. A vector SVG or PDF stays sharp at any size. A JPG works too; use the background remover to lift the art off a plain background so the cut follows the design.
Resolution
Print holds far more detail than a screen, so a small web logo can print soft. The studio compares your file to the size you chose and warns you when it is too small; upload the largest version you have and the warning usually clears.
Cut-friendly shapes
Avoid hairlines, tiny islands and long thin spikes at the edge of the design. A slim white border smooths a complicated outline and protects fine edges. Keep text above roughly 8 points.
Bleed and safe area
The studio adds bleed automatically so colour runs to the cut edge, and it shows a safe area inside the cut where text and important detail should sit. You do not need to add either to your file.
A screen glows and a sticker reflects, so print always looks a little different. Each material adds its own character; here is what to expect.
White base
White gloss, white matte and heavy-duty gloss carry every colour at full strength. Gloss deepens colour and adds shine; matte softens it and kills glare.
Effect films and chrome
Holographic, glitter, prismatic and chrome sit under the ink. Light or open areas of the design show the effect; solid dark areas cover it. Designs with breathing room show the material best. White areas in your file print as clear ink coverage, so plan for them to show the film.
Clear
Our process prints colour without a white underlayer, so unprinted areas of a clear sticker are see-through and light colours look translucent against the surface behind them. Bold, saturated art on clear looks excellent on glass and dark surfaces; pastels and fine white detail do not.
Brand colours
Colours reproduce closely in a full-colour process; an exact match to a swatch book is not something a digital sticker process promises. The studio proof is the best preview, and our team will flag anything that will not translate.
Printed vinyl stickers are made for real use, indoors and out.
Water and weather
All the printed vinyls are water-resistant and designed for indoor and outdoor use: water bottles, laptops, phone cases, packaging, windows, doors and equipment. They stand up to hand washing. We do not recommend a dishwasher for any printed sticker.
Permanent and removable
The white vinyls, films and clear vinyl use a permanent adhesive that bonds firmly after a day. Removable vinyl uses a low-tack adhesive that peels cleanly for months, for demo units, rentals and surfaces you will want back. Window cling uses no adhesive at all.
Application
Apply to a clean, dry, room-temperature surface. Smooth from the centre out. Give permanent stickers a day before exposing them to water. On textured or oily surfaces expect a shorter life.
Storage
Keep unused stickers flat, dry and out of direct sun; they store for a long time on their backing.
Both cuts come from the same cutter; the difference is depth.
Die-cut singles
Cut through vinyl and backing. Each sticker is a finished piece in the shape of the art. Best for handing out, packing, selling singly and applying one at a time.
Kiss-cut
Cut through the vinyl only; the backing stays whole. The sticker peels off a square or a sheet with a margin of backing around it, which protects fine edges and makes small stickers easy to peel.
Sheets
A page of kiss-cut stickers on one backing, from 4 by 6 to 12 by 18 inches, with as many designs as fit. Sheets suit planners, sticker packs, label runs and merch bundles, and they let several small designs price as one item. See custom sticker sheets.
Which to choose
Singles when the sticker is the product or the seal. Sheets when several designs travel together or when the pieces are small. Many creators order both: die-cut singles of the hero design and a sheet of the set.
Sticker pricing rewards volume more than almost any other printed product, because the setup is the same for ten pieces and a thousand.
Quantity breaks
The ladder in the studio shows the price per piece at every break for your exact size and material. Stepping up a break often costs little more in total and leaves you with stock for the next event.
Mixed orders
Add as many designs, sizes and materials as you like to one cart; each line prices on its own quantity. If you need several small designs, a sheet may price better than singles.
Reorders
Saved designs stay on your account. Reorder in a new quantity or on a new material with no artwork to send again.
Very large runs
Past the top break, ask for a quote. We price large and recurring runs by hand and can set up business invoicing alongside your apparel account.
Die-cut stickers are printed and cut in our North York, Toronto facility on our own wide-format printers and contour cutters, by the production team that has printed custom apparel for Canadians since 2013.
One order, one box
Because the stickers are made where the shirts are, a mixed order of stickers, buttons and tees is one order with one proof set and one tracking number.
Canadian pricing
Prices are in Canadian dollars; there is no duty, brokerage or exchange fee because nothing crosses a border.
Checked against your proof
Every run is checked against the preview you approved in the studio before it is packed. If a file needs attention the studio could not catch, we email you before printing rather than guessing.
Stickers ship flat in rigid mailers or boxes from Toronto to every province and territory.
Cost
Shipping is free on orders over $250 before tax. Below that, carrier options and rates appear at checkout.
Taxes
GST or HST is added at checkout by province. There is no duty or brokerage.
Tracking
You receive a tracking number by email when the order ships, and your account shows its status at any time.
Combined orders
Stickers ship with any apparel, magnets, buttons or transfers on the same order, so an event kit arrives together.
The well-known sticker sites do a good job, and it is fair to say where we differ.
Materials
Twelve die-cut materials, including chrome, prismatic, removable and two window clings, against the three or four most sites list.
Canadian pricing and shipping
CAD prices, Toronto production, no duty or brokerage. Sites that quote in CAD still ship across a border.
Everything on one order
Stickers, sheets, magnets, buttons, posters, transfers and printed apparel share one cart and one delivery.
The studio
You see the finished piece, the cut line and the exact price for your size and quantity before you add to cart.
Where the big sites win is very large runs of a single product. Past our top break, ask for a quote and compare like for like.
Sticker vinyl is a plastic film with an adhesive layer, and it is fair to say so plainly.
What it is
Printed vinyl stickers are PVC film with a permanent or removable adhesive on a paper or film backing. Window cling is a static PVC film with no adhesive.
Disposal
Vinyl stickers are not recyclable in household programs. Backing paper often is, depending on your municipality. Removable vinyl leaves surfaces clean for reuse.
Less waste in production
Pieces are nested tightly on the roll to use less material, and every order prints to the quantity you order rather than to a stock run. Ordering what you will use is the biggest saving, and small runs are easy in the studio.
Some of the jobs we see most often, to spark your own.
Through the year
New year: packaging seals and thank-you stickers for shipped orders. Spring: school spirit stickers, team equipment stickers, market-season merch. Summer: festival singles, water-bottle stickers, holographic limited editions. Fall: back-to-school laptop stickers, campaign and event stickers. Winter: gift packaging, holiday retail windows on cling, sticker-sheet gift sets.
By industry
Cafes and food: cup and packaging seals, window clings. Breweries and makers: logo die-cuts, chrome or holographic specials. Real estate and trades: removable stickers for signage and equipment. Tech and startups: laptop stickers by the hundred. Non-profits: fundraiser packs and awareness stickers. Schools: spirit and club stickers with matching tees.
Ordering takes a few minutes and you always see the price first.

Ten pieces of one design. The price per piece falls at every quantity break, and the studio shows the whole ladder for your size before you order.
Price depends on the finished size, the quantity and the material, in Canadian dollars. The live table on this page shows today's price per piece for white gloss at the most common size; the studio prices any size and material as you design.
From 1 inch to 23.5 inches on the longest side, in any proportion. Set one side and the other follows your artwork.
Yes. The cutter follows a line traced from your artwork, or you can choose a circle, oval, square or rounded rectangle. Shape does not change the price.
White gloss, white matte, heavy-duty gloss, holographic, glitter, prismatic, silver chrome, gold chrome, clear, removable, white window cling and clear window cling.
They are water-resistant and designed for indoor and outdoor use, including water bottles and laptops. They stand up to hand washing; we do not recommend a dishwasher for printed stickers.
Permanent white gloss and heavy-duty gloss stickers hold on painted panels, bumpers and windows when applied to a clean, dry surface. Expect a shorter life than a dedicated vehicle wrap film.
No. Our process prints colour without a white underlayer, so unprinted areas are see-through and light colours look translucent. Bold, saturated art suits clear best, and the studio previews it.
Holographic shifts smoothly through the rainbow as it moves. Prismatic fractures light into small mirror facets, a sharper sparkle. Glitter is a fine even sparkle under the print.
Removable vinyl uses a low-tack adhesive that peels cleanly for months from smooth surfaces such as glass, painted metal and laptops. Porous or textured surfaces may hold some adhesive.
Static. There is no adhesive, so they reposition endlessly and leave nothing behind. White cling prints like a white sticker; clear cling shows the glass through unprinted areas.
No. A slim white border gives a classic finished look and protects thin edges; a tight cut follows the art closely. On clear and chrome materials, no border keeps the effect visible. You choose in the studio.
Keep text above roughly 8 points at the finished size. The studio flags text that is too small to print and cut cleanly.
PNG, JPG, SVG or PDF. A transparent PNG or a vector file gives the cleanest cut line. The background remover lifts a logo off a plain background.
No. The studio adds bleed so colour runs to the cut edge, and shows a safe area for text and detail.
Yes. The studio shows the finished sticker with its cut line as you design, and you approve that view when you add to cart. If a file needs attention we email you before printing.

The live ladder already falls with quantity and is the same for everyone. Past the top break, or for standing orders and invoicing, ask for a quote.
Colours reproduce closely in a full-colour process. An exact swatch-book match is not something a digital sticker process promises; the studio proof is the best preview.
