Excellent screen printing quality, and excellent selection of high quality garments. Love that I can order just 1 item instead of a large minimum order most custom garment companies require.
I've ordered a number of custom t-shirts from T-Shirt Elephant and have always been pleased with the results. The design software is easy to use, and the selection of colours and fabrics is endless. Turn-around time is short, normally just a few days before my products are in my hands. Recommended!

Everything You Need to Know About Event Poster Printing in Canada
Printed in Toronto, shipped across Canada
Event posters are printed in runs: a stack of 11 by 17s for shop windows and bulletin boards, a handful of 18 by 24s for the venue and the lobby, and a few 12 by 18s for frames and the merch table. We print all of them in Toronto on gloss or matte poster paper, priced live per size and quantity, with no minimum and no setup fee.
How ours are made
Posters print on our wide-format printer and are trimmed square. Each size is its own line in the cart, so the mix is priced exactly.
Who orders
Bands, promoters and venues; schools, PTAs and student unions; charities, markets, festivals, churches, clubs and community centres. See all sizes on the custom posters page.
A typical event order is two or three sizes.
11 by 17
The postering workhorse: shop windows, cafe boards, campus kiosks, community boards. Order the most of these.
12 by 18
Frames, easels at the door, merch-table prints, sponsor thank-yous.
18 by 24
Venue windows, lobbies, stage-side and street-facing walls. See 18×24 poster printing.
8 by 10
Counter cards, table tents and small notices.
Music still runs on paper.
Postering
11 by 17 on matte for boards and windows; matte reads without glare under street lights.
Venue
18 by 24 gloss at the door and the bar for rich colour.
Merch prints
12 by 18 gloss art prints of the show poster, numbered by hand, sold at the table beside the stickers and the buttons.
Festival sets
Lineup posters in three sizes, sponsor boards and stage schedules from one order.
Schools and charities post the same way, on a smaller budget.
School events
Plays, concerts, fun fairs, book fairs and graduation: 11 by 17 for hallways and 18 by 24 for the front entrance.
Fundraisers
Charity walks, runs, galas, bottle drives and bake sales, with a QR code to the donation page.
Community
Markets, festivals, church events, sports registration, town halls.
Budget
The per-poster price falls at 10, 25 and 50; the studio shows where the run gets cheap.
Event posters are priced per piece by size and quantity, in Canadian dollars, with no setup fee. Gloss and matte price the same at each size. Colour count and artwork make no difference.
Today's ladder
Here is the live price per poster on gloss paper at 18 by 24; the studio shows 11 by 17 and 12 by 18 as you design:
| Quantity | Price per piece at 18 × 24 in | Order total |
|---|---|---|
| 10+ | $40.25 CAD | $402.50 for 10 |

Reading the ladder
Each row is a quantity break. The studio shows the same ladder for your exact choice, so you can see whether the next break costs less in total than the run you planned. It often does.
Larger runs
Past the top break, or for a mix of sizes and designs, ask for a quote. Business accounts see the same live grid online.
A poster has one second to answer four questions.
Hierarchy
Event name largest, then date and time, then venue, then price and a link or QR code. On 11 by 17, the date at 48 points or larger.
One image
A single strong image or a bold type-only design beats a collage.
Contrast
Dark on light or light on dark; read it from three metres before you order.
QR codes
At least 1.25 inches on 11 by 17, with a quiet margin, and test it on the screen proof.
Matte for postering, boards and windows lit by street and shop lights, where glare kills readability. Gloss for the venue, the lobby and the merch print, where colour matters more. Both are indoor papers; for outdoor boards, expect a poster to last the run of the campaign, not the season.
Pricing rewards volume because the setup is the same for one poster and two hundred.
Quantity breaks
The ladder in the studio shows the price per poster at every break. Stepping up a break often costs little more in total and leaves stock for the next event.
Mixed orders
Add as many designs and sizes as you like to one cart; each line prices on its own quantity.
Reorders
Saved designs stay on your account. Reorder in a new quantity or a new size with no artwork to send again.
Very large runs
Past the top break, ask for a quote. We price large and recurring runs by hand and can set up business invoicing.
Upload a PDF, SVG or a large PNG or JPG. 11 by 17, 12 by 18 and 18 by 24 are close but not identical proportions, so the studio shows the trim for each size and lets you adjust. Keep text an inch from the edge, run backgrounds to the edge, and let the studio handle bleed. It warns if a file is too small for a size.
Plan the route before you order.
Count the spots
Cafes, record shops, campus boards, libraries, community centres, the venue, sponsors' windows. Add a margin for replacements.
Ask first
Shops and boards usually say yes to a polite ask; public poles and boards follow municipal bylaws, which vary by city.
Bring the kit
Removable tape, pins and a few window clings for the glass. See window clings for reusable window graphics.
Event posters are printed on gloss or matte poster paper on our own wide-format printers in our North York, Toronto facility and trimmed square, by the team that has printed custom apparel for Canadians since 2013.
One order, one box
Because they are made where the shirts are, an order of posters, stickers, buttons and tees is one order with one proof set and one tracking number.
Canadian pricing
Prices are in Canadian dollars; there is no duty, brokerage or exchange fee because nothing crosses a border.
Checked against your proof
Every run is checked against the preview you approved in the studio before it is packed. If a file needs attention, we email you before production.
Event posters ship flat in rigid mailers, or rolled in tubes for larger runs from Toronto to every province and territory.
Cost
Shipping is free on orders over $250 before tax. Below that, carrier options and rates appear at checkout.
Taxes
GST or HST is added at checkout by province. There is no duty or brokerage.
Tracking
You receive a tracking number by email when the order ships, and your account shows its status at any time.
Combined orders
Event posters ship with any apparel or other printed products on the same order, so an event kit arrives together.
The well-known online printers do a good job, and it is fair to say where we differ on event posters.
Range and sizing
Standard frame sizes and any custom size from 8 to 24 inches on gloss or matte, priced live, with runs of one to hundreds on the same ladder.
Canadian pricing and shipping
CAD prices, Toronto production, no duty or brokerage. Sites that quote in CAD still ship across a border.
Everything on one order
Stickers, sheets, magnets, buttons, posters, transfers and printed apparel share one cart and one delivery.
The studio
You see the finished piece and the exact price for your size and quantity before you add to cart.
Where the big sites win is very large runs of one product. Past our top break, ask for a quote and compare like for like.
Promoters and venues order posters every week.
Templates
Save a series template in the studio and change the date and the act each time.
Recurring runs
Standing orders and invoicing are a quote away; the same live grid prices each run.
With the merch
Posters ship with the show tees, stickers and buttons from the same account.
A poster is printed paper, and that is the simplest material we offer.
What it is
Event posters are a coated poster paper, gloss or matte, printed in full colour and trimmed square.
Disposal
Poster paper goes in household paper recycling in most municipalities. Gloss paper is coated but still accepted by most programs; check yours.
Less waste in production
Every order is made to the quantity you order rather than to a stock run. Ordering what you will use is the biggest saving, and small runs are easy in the studio.
Winter: winter festivals, school concerts, conference posters. Spring: charity walks, school plays, market openings, graduation. Summer: festival season, outdoor concerts, fairs and Canada Day. Fall: fall fairs, homecoming, fundraising galas, Halloween and holiday-market posters.
Ordering takes a few minutes and you always see the price first.
1. Start on the product
Pick gloss or matte from the cards above and choose the first size in the studio; add the other sizes as separate lines.
2. Upload and size
Upload your file. Pick a standard size or set a custom one; the studio keeps the proportions, shows the trim and the price ladder for that size.
3. Choose the options and quantity
Pick gloss or matte paper and set the quantity where the ladder makes sense for you.
4. Approve and check out
Check the preview, add to cart and check out in Canadian dollars alongside any apparel. You receive tracking when the order ships, and the design stays saved for reorders. Questions at any stage: contact our Toronto team. See all custom posters.
