Everything You Need to Know About Custom Laptop Stickers in Canada

Laptop stickers are the sticker most people see every day, on their own lid and on everyone else's at the coffee shop. The best ones are matte so they do not glare under lights, thin so the lid closes flat, and removable so the laptop can be handed back or resold clean.
Our materials
White matte vinyl is the laptop default; white gloss for brighter colour; removable vinyl for leased and company machines; holographic and glitter for specials.
Sizes
Two to three inches is the laptop sweet spot; 1.5 inches for a phone or a bottle; 4 inches for a statement. Any shape from 1 to 23.5 inches is available. See the range on the die-cut stickers page.
Both are the same vinyl; the finish changes how the sticker lives on a laptop.
Matte
No glare under office and cafe lighting, hides fingerprints, photographs cleanly. The default for tech companies and creators.
Gloss
Deeper colour and a little shine; better for bright illustration and for bottles.
Choose both
Order a small run of each; the minimum is ten.
Company laptops get returned; personal laptops get sold.
Removable vinyl
A low-tack adhesive that peels cleanly for months from a laptop lid, leaving no residue. Ideal for onboarding kits, conference laptops and machines that move between people.
Permanent vinyl
Standard matte and gloss bond firmly; they come off with a fingernail and patience but may leave a little adhesive on some finishes.

Laptop stickers are priced per piece by finished area and quantity, in Canadian dollars, with no setup fee. White matte and gloss are the base price; removable vinyl and effect films add a small per-square-inch premium. Shape, colour count and border style make no difference.

Reading the ladder
Each row is a quantity break. The studio shows the same ladder for your exact size, so you can see whether the next break costs less in total than the run you planned. It often does.
Larger runs
Past the top break, or for a mix of sizes and materials, ask for a quote. Business accounts see the same live grid online.
Illustrators sell laptop stickers by the hundred; students cover lids with clubs and causes.
Creators
Characters and lettering in matte, a holographic special, and a sheet of the set.
Clubs and student groups
Club logos, campus events, cause stickers at low minimums.
Bottles too
The same 2 to 3 inch stickers wrap a water bottle; hand wash the bottle.
A laptop lid is an easy life for a sticker: indoors, flat, wiped occasionally.
Bags and sleeves
Edges catch on sleeves over time; a slim white border and firm application help.
Cleaning
Wipe with a damp cloth; avoid solvent wipes on the sticker itself.
Effect films
Holographic and glitter show scuffs sooner; keep them off the underside.
Sticker pricing rewards volume because the setup is the same for ten pieces and a thousand.
Quantity breaks
The ladder in the studio shows the price per sticker at every break for your size. Stepping up a break often costs little more in total and leaves stock for the next event.
Mixed orders
Add as many designs, sizes and materials as you like to one cart; each line prices on its own quantity.
Reorders
Saved designs stay on your account. Reorder in a new quantity or on a new material with no artwork to send again.
Very large runs
Past the top break, ask for a quote. We price large and recurring runs by hand and can set up business invoicing.
Two to three inches sits neatly in a lid corner; a single 4 inch sticker centres well on a lid; 1.5 inches suits phones and bottles.
Logo lids
Most laptop lids have a logo in the centre; corner placement avoids it.
Borders
A slim white border or a tight cut, previewed in the studio.
Upload a transparent PNG, SVG or PDF. At 2 inches, detail matters: keep text above roughly 8 points, avoid hairlines, and let the studio trace a clean cut line. Matte hides small imperfections better than gloss.

A kiss-cut sheet turns several laptop stickers into one item: a starter pack for new hires, a creator's set, a club's season pack. Sheets run from 4 by 6 up to 12 by 18 inches on the same materials. See custom sticker sheets.
Sticker vinyl is a plastic film with an adhesive layer, and it is fair to say so plainly.
What it is
Laptop stickers are PVC film with a permanent or removable adhesive on a paper backing.
Disposal
Vinyl stickers are not recyclable in household programs. Backing paper often is, depending on your municipality.
Less waste in production
Pieces are nested tightly on the roll to use less material, and every order prints to the quantity you order rather than to a stock run. Ordering what you will use is the biggest saving, and small runs are easy in the studio.
