A business card magnet is a standard 3.5 by 2 inch business card printed in full colour directly onto flexible 20 mil magnetic stock. It is handed out like a card and kept like a magnet: on the fridge, the filing cabinet or the steel door by the phone, where the number is seen every day for years.
How ours are made
The magnetic sheet prints on our wide-format printer in Toronto and is trimmed to the card size. Nothing is glued on; the print is on the magnet itself, so there is no paper face to peel or curl.
Who orders them

Shape
Cards are trimmed square-cornered or with a slight round; intricate shapes are not offered on magnets.
Business card magnets are priced per piece by finished area and quantity, in Canadian dollars, with no setup fee. The business-card size is one of the least expensive per piece because of its small area. Colour count and artwork make no difference.

Reading the ladder
Each row is a quantity break. The studio shows the same ladder for your exact choice, so you can see whether the next break costs less in total than the run you planned. It often does.
Larger runs
Past the top break, or for a mix of sizes and designs, ask for a quote. Business accounts see the same live grid online.
A card on a fridge is read from a metre away, which changes the design.
Lead with the number
Phone number and business name larger than on a paper card; the rest smaller or dropped.
One message
A service line, a website and a logo. Skip the back-of-card content; magnets are single-sided.
Contrast
Dark text on a light background reads best on a fridge; keep the background simple behind the number.
Use your card file
Upload the front of the existing card as a PDF or PNG and enlarge the name and number in the studio.
Twenty mil is the standard fridge-magnet weight.
Hold
Strong enough to hold a few sheets of paper on a fridge, whiteboard, filing cabinet or steel door.
Where it belongs
Indoors, on steel. Not intended for vehicles or outdoor use.
Care
Wipe with a damp cloth; keep away from strong heat, which can curl thin magnetic stock.
Pricing rewards volume because the setup is the same for ten pieces and a thousand.
Quantity breaks
The ladder in the studio shows the price per magnet at every break. Stepping up a break often costs little more in total and leaves stock for the next event.
Mixed orders
Add as many designs and sizes as you like to one cart; each line prices on its own quantity.
Reorders
Saved designs stay on your account. Reorder in a new quantity or a new size with no artwork to send again.
Very large runs
Past the top break, ask for a quote. We price large and recurring runs by hand and can set up business invoicing.
Upload the front of your business card as a PDF, SVG or PNG. The studio fits it to 3.5 by 2, shows the trim and a safe area for text, and warns if a file is too small. Keep text above 7 points; a phone number at 14 points or larger reads from across the kitchen.
A magnet goes everywhere a card does, and a few places it does not.

Business card magnets are a flexible 20 mil ferrite-loaded rubber sheet with a printable white vinyl face.
Disposal
Flexible magnetic stock is not recyclable in household programs; it is a ferrite-loaded rubber sheet. Order the quantity you will use.

Every order is made to the quantity you order rather than to a stock run. Ordering what you will use is the biggest saving, and small runs are easy in the studio.
